When it comes to a website the homepage affects how the user will react with their next move. Whether they decide to stay on the page or leave for another website depends on the layout and design. It's the key factor to focus on when it comes to usability on a website. Needing actions that move the user swiftly through the website that is also visually appealing.
The way a user feels when viewing a website determines whether they can trust and rely on the information given. Wanting the customer to feel excited when opening up the homepage is how you want an initial reaction. In the end, fixing the issues would help resolve the website and give the users an experience they won't forget.
